Brauer Cold Air Guns (Air Amplifiers) — stainless-steel vortex-tube guns that turn ordinary workshop compressed air into a cold air stream up to 38°C below supply temperature, with no electrical power. Fixed (CG4) or adjustable (CG4A).
Description
It seems amazing that your workshop compressed air can be used to provide two very different air streams when passed through the Brauer Cold Air Gun or Vortex Tube — one air stream at 38°C below the workshop supply temperature, the other at 39°C above the workshop supply temperature, all by using a Brauer Cold Air Gun.
The uses for such a phenomenon are widespread: cooling machining operations (removing the need for wet coolant), cooling electronic control cabinets, and setting hot-formed plastics, sealants or solders. All are achieved with no electric power requirement, using a virtually maintenance-free, stainless-steel Vortex Tube.
The fixed cold air gun (CG4) delivers a preset cold air stream, while the adjustable cold air gun (CG4A) incorporates a temperature control knob so you can set the optimum efficiency for your application. Both are supplied with a magnetic base (Part No. AM-MAGB); optional mounting rings are also available.
