Heavy Duty Vertical Clamps

Brauer VA series heavy-duty vertical clamps are designed to be adaptable and durable, and to withstand abuse in heavy duty applications. S models comprise a basic toggle mechanism with a swivel base which is welded at the desired angle, onto which the clamping arm and handle (available as accessories) can be welded; T models share the same features with a straight base for direct bolt mounting or welding. The 1A models add a vertically fitted PVC-grip handle and a longer stub clamping arm with the spindle retainer supplied for welding in the desired position, while 2C models feature a flanged base with bolt-mounting holes and a fixed spindle position requiring no welding. TD models have drilled mounting holes in base and stub arm with the front arm sold separately; TV (drilled arm) and TP (tapped arm) variants suit automated and automotive fixtures. The compact VA300 series fills the smaller end of the range with a phosphated corrosion-resistant finish; larger models are finished chemi-black with precision alloy steel castings and hardened axles running in hardened bushes. A locking-mechanism option is available to special order (suffix LC).
